When I
discovered personalized service and expertly chosen shoes
and products at Berkeley Sports, La Foot, Transport, and
See Jane Run in the East Bay, I decided that I would never
return to another Foot Locker or Athlete's Foot. I
needed a new pair of gym shoes, so I instinctively
searched Yelp and Google Maps for a similar running store
near Burlingame, where I now live. The only review that I
could find was for Road Runner Sports in an out-of-the-way
location in San Carlos, but since I was meeting a friend
for dinner in Belmont, I decided I would stop by the store
beforehand. I arrived at the store 30 minutes prior to
closing (8 pm on weekdays) and still received the best
service I've had at any shoe store. I was first asked
some specific questions to determine the type of shoe I
